France Trip - September 2008
Members are talking about heading to France September/October this year. The holiday makers will be travelling to the Biarritz area using ferry & car as transportation. Its early days in the planning stages at the mo but keep your eyes on the forum for a thread about it

British Longboard Club Championships. Now Oct 4th/5th.
After last years enthusiastic showing from BSC (we didn't come last!) Pete is keen to enter at least one team for this year. Let him know if you would like to sharpen your logging skills with some contest experience.

The social on the Saturday night was worth the trip even if you don't compete (and we could use some support).

Beginners session part III. Bude. 14th/16th Oct.
The last beginners weekend of the year. Check the forum for details and to reserve a place.

Newquay weekender. November 14th/16th
The official start to the winter season. Sim has secured us a good discount at the St Christophers hostel overlooking Towan beach so you don't have to camp in arctic conditions. Last years trip was a booze and curry fuelled affair and we suspect this trip will have a similar flavour.

Surf the Severn Bore
I have no idea when this is working will need to do some research but could be a giggle to wither watch or to miss and then chase! As the chances of riding this may be coming to an end with the new tidal power plans it may be worth sorting this year! Due to this not being the safest of things to do, it's not really a beginner's event. Best left to the idiots amongst us.

Home of the BSC every Thursday night from 8PM.
